Our story · Since 1989

Crafted for celebrations,
since 1989.

Muscoreil’s Fine Desserts is an upscale, family-owned bakery that has served Buffalo and Western New York since 1989 — known for custom wedding cakes, fine European cookies, and dessert tables made for the moments worth remembering.

Since 1989

How it began

Founded in 1989, on cakes worth remembering.

David Muscoreil and Ernie Ramstetter opened Muscoreil’s in 1989, and it quickly became known across Western New York for its wedding cakes, elaborate dessert tables, and fine European-style cookies.

That reputation grew into more than twenty thousand wedding cakes, a kitchen of some forty-five culinary artists, and an expanded home — with a gourmet bistro — on Niagara Falls Boulevard in North Tonawanda.

Today the bakery is owned by Philip Sydoriak and his partner Stephen Duck, who carry that same standard forward: everything made fresh, designed by hand, and built around your celebration.

What we believe

✦

How we bake

Four things that haven’t changed since 1989.

From scratch, always

No mixes, no shortcuts, no freezer trucks. We weigh the flour and brown the butter ourselves, every morning.

Finished by hand

Every cake is decorated by a real person at a real bench — not a machine and not a stencil.

Rooted in North Tonawanda

A family-owned bakery on Niagara Falls Boulevard and now in Lancaster, proudly serving Buffalo and Western New York since 1989.

Made to be remembered

Weddings, birthdays, showers, graduations — we bake for the milestones people keep.
